Payments & cancellations for online orders

Online orders are paid in full and are non-refundable. However, you are able to transfer the payment made to another order within 12 months.

Deposits & Payments for Custom Cakes (Offline orders only)

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm and secure an order. The deposit covers administration duties and the preparation of your order. The deposit also secures a spot in our calendar. The balance is required to be paid a minimum of 7 days prior to delivery or collection of your cake. If the final balance is not paid on time, the order will not be completed and the deposit will be lost. We will send you a reminder 7 days prior to your event.

Cancellations (Offline orders only)

Once the 50% non refundable deposit is made, your order is secured. Any cancellations will result in the loss of your deposit, however, you are able to transfer this deposit to another order within 12 months. We retain the right to cancel the booking in very unusual circumstances beyond our control, such as fire or ill health, during which we will refund any money taken in full.

Covid-19 Policy

In the case of a lockdown and/or restrictions due to Covid-19 the paid deposit or the full amount of a cake order already paid will not be refunded if the cake order is cancelled, however, you are able to transfer this deposit to another order within 12 months.

Pickups

We will contact you one week prior to your event to arrange a time with you for pickup. Orders MUST be collected at the nominated time, we cannot be expected to sit around and wait for late collections as we have other deliveries and collections. Once your order has been collected, all responsibility for the cake is transferred to the customer. We make every effort to ensure the cake is structured safely for travel and we are not liable for any loss or damage caused after collection.

Deliveries

Delivery fees are calculated based on distance travelled from our studio and will be included as an itemised charge on invoice. Following delivery we are not liable for any loss or damage caused.

Changes

It’s ok if you need to change your mind regarding the design of your cake, however any changes to your order must be finalised no later than 14 days prior to delivery or collection.  Please be aware that any changes to the design may incur additional costs.

Allergens

Unfortunately Gluten Free is the only dietary requirement we can currently cater to, however please be aware that although ingredients can be removed from the cakes, they are still used in our kitchen so we cannot guarantee that any of our cakes are completely free of them.

Storage

Buttercream cakes, naked cakes and cupcakes can be refrigerated, then removed from the fridge and brought to a cool room temperature 30-45 minutes prior to serving. If you’d like to freeze your leftovers we recommend cutting into smaller portions then placing these into an airtight container. Then covering the container with multiple layers of glad wrap.

Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

Payment of your deposit or any purchase through the website is considered acceptance of all terms and conditions.
